Here’s a fun video from the guys and girls at College Humor – lampooning the clubbing world!

I’m 36 now, so my clubbing days are definitely in the past (even though in gay years you can technically club later in life!). It’s probably been 5 years since I’ve been to a real club – as opposed to just a really noisy bar – but I don’t miss them at all. The thought of going clubbing now just fills me with horror. When I go out I need a seat, low music, waiter service and to be back home by midnight. Gosh, when did I get so old!

This video definitely nails some of its targets – over-priced drinks, girls in skimpy dresses in sub zero temperatures (a friend of mine once caught hypothermia on a New Years Eve in England!), ridiculous seating and the hassles of getting a drink at a bar… and the song is pretty clever too! Love the horn!
